Industrial Mixers
Reactor - Dryer
These types of machines are used in processes requiring the following operations:
Changing the working pressure of the mixing chamber.
Changing the temperature of the processed product and/or the mixing chamber.
Changing the working pressure of the mixing chamber.
Changing the temperature of the processed product and/or the mixing chamber.
REACTORS
Reactors are machines in which chemical reactions take place between 2 or more substances (solids, pastes or liquids) and by interacting with each other create a new substance.
Why is the pressure in the mixing chamber changed?
Changing the pressure at which the process takes place affects the behaviour of the raw materials being mixed in the vessel; this in turn alters the ongoing reactions and the time taken for these reactions to occur.
If the process takes place under positive pressure, the reactions become more energetic and thus the process time is shortened.
If the process is carried out under negative pressure, liquids such as solvents can be removed at lower temperatures compared to the same process carried out under atmospheric pressure.

DRYERS
Dryers are machines used to remove moisture from processed materials. Thanks to the heat exchanger on the mixing chamber, the processed product can be heated.
Why is the temperature of the mixing chamber changed? The heat exchanger can be used for various purposes:
– To supply energy to the reaction process occurring in the reactor, to promote the reaction
– To remove energy from the reaction process occurring in the reactor, to control the exothermic reaction (especially in the case of highly energetic and rapid reactions)
– To supply energy to the product to promote the evaporation of moisture within it.
